Home for Felix

After many weeks of searching you’ll be pleased to know we did find a new home for Felix. He’s now happily settled in with his new owner in the countryside near Stamford. A big ‘thankyou’ to Stamford vets for their circulation that helped Felix find his new mum.

Don’t you just love a happy ending 🙂

Please Can You Help Me?

Hello, my name is Felix, I know it’s a fantastic name for a black and white boy.

I used to come here for my holidays, but I’m actually having to live here at the moment and whilst I do like being here, I really need a new home.

You see my Mummy died and there was no one else to look after me.

It was all very sad and I don’t know what happened but I do so miss being home with her. And that’s why I’m looking for a new home.

I’m 9 years old and very nervous of strange things but once I get used to you I’ll be so loving and be such good company. I guess I really need a home with older people, where there’s not lots of noise with children, dogs or even other cats. I’ve always been on my own you see, just me and Mum. Now there’s just me.

So please have a think and if you or someone you know could do with a new companion I’m happy to give it a try, just ask June or Vicki about me.

Thank you so much for reading this.

Cattery Entrance

Some of you will have noticed a new trellis and archway feature as you approach The Bythams Cattery buildings entrance. Yes, we thought it was time to add a little more to your visit!

It will evolve with scented roses and clematis planned to cover the structure but we hope you enjoy our new entrance area.

Please note that whilst the structure has encroached into the cattery carpark there is additional carparking space available on the righthandside by driving though the gap between the hedge and house.

Clean Bill of Health

Following the visit from South Kesteven District Council licensing staff we are pleased to say that once more The Bythams Cattery has received its new yearly licence to continue trading.

We continually strive to maintain our standards in presentation and cleanliness together with going that extra mile to look after your pets whilst they are resident with us and it’s pleasing to know SKDC officers agree with our status.

Donations Reach £1155.00

Thanks to you kind hearted people donations  have reached £1155.00 , what a magnificent total and I was worried about reaching £250.00 let alone the £500.00 target my husband set me on my Just Giving page!

It is an achievement not only for me to have walked this distance but in what you have given to BREAKTHROUGH. I feel very humbled that you have seen fit to support me during this venture and during the last two miles when I really hit the wall and didn’t want to continue it was your messages that had been relayed through to me from home that helped me to continue and finish. My Just Giving page is still open for those who wish to look at the lovely comments or if you would still like to donate to BREAKTHROUGH Breast Cancer.   just click on this link.

So, a very big ‘Thank You’ to all who have helped me make my Norfolk Coastal Challenge well worthwhile.

Thank you,

June x.
